Global football star Zlatan Ibrahimović is about to drop his first-ever NFT collection. The Laws of Adrenaline: An NFT Collection will drop on MakersPlace tomorrow, March 24, 2022, at 6 PM CET. The drop will see Ibrahimović join the ranks of famous athletes who have launched an NFT collection.
Zlatan Ibrahimović chooses MakersPlace for his debut NFTs
The Swedish football icon and current AC Milan striker recruited a number of artists to create the art for his NFTs. For example, the collection includes the art of four renowned Italian artists GionnyScandal, Hexaract, Paolo Manazza, and Tresoldi. Indeed, those are the artists are responsible for the works shown above. In addition, producers ArtsLife, Wrong Theory, and ARTN helped Zlatan to assemble the collection.
To clarify, the drop on March 24th will be the first of three drops between now and late June. That first drop in the series will feature a mix of open editions, limited collections, and 1-of-1s. The breakdown is as follows:
-
Adrenalina by Hexaract ( 1-of-1 animation)
-
Dear Hater by GionnyScandal ((1-of-1 still image)
-
The Strength and the Bravery by Paolo Manazza/ M.Arm (10-piece collection, animation)
-

-
In.storia by Ivan Tresoldi (open edition, still image)
Notably, there is a gift for any collector who buys at least one open edition in each of the three Zlatan Ibrahimović NFT drops. To explain, they will also get an airdrop of one limited edition NFT.
Craig Palmer, CEO of MakersPlace, said the following about the NFT drop:
“We’re very much looking forward to hosting the ‘The Laws of Adrenaline” series on MakersPlace, and truly enjoy being able to provide high quality artwork for art and sports enthusiasts alike by offering accessibility in purchasing NFTs from their favorite creators.”
Zlatan is one of world football’s most beloved stars
At 40 years of age, Zlatan is still playing football at the highest level. He currently stars as a striker for one of the best clubs in Italy, AC Milan. He has also played for such historic football clubs as Juventus, Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, and Manchester United.
Besides this, Ibrahimović has scored over 570 career goals. As a result, he’s widely considered to be one of the greatest strikers of all time. What’s more, Zlatan has earned the love (and scorn) of football fans through his relentless confidence and hilarious interviews. Needless to say, there will be many global football fans who would love to get a piece of his debut NFT collection.
Interestingly, Zlatan Ibrahimović challenged the artists to create NFT art based on his latest autobiography, Adrenaline: My Untold Stories. Hence the name of the NFT collection, The Laws of Adrenaline. In particular, the eleven artists worked off of eleven quotes from his autobiography.
All things considered, Zlatan was a great candidate amongst footballers to launch a collection. He joins fellow legendary goal-scorers Wayne Rooney and Lionel Messi in this regard.
With that said, hopefully, his collection fares better than the recent one from retired England and Chelsea legend John Terry.
