Exciting news for World of Women Galaxy holders, they will be part of World of Women’s very own DAO called DAWoW!
World of Women made the announcement in a recent tweet. It said “The DAWoW is our attempt at empowering the WoW community by giving them the right to decide on meaningful decisions. And because we want to build the future of WoW all together, WoWG holders will also be given voting powers in the DAWoW!”
Their thriving community delights in the decision. The female-led NFT project received plenty of support as they empowered their holders by giving them a voice in the trajectory of their projects.
Holly Hagan(@HollyGShore), an NFT collector and influencer, replied to the WoW tweet. She said: “Absolutely love this idea! It really strengthens the community when an NFT project takes our opinion into consideration. This is what Web3 is all about.”
DAWoW and World of Women
Through DAWoW, World of Women surely celebrates representation, inclusivity, and equal opportunities for all as mentioned on its website. Artist Yam Karkai created the NFT project less than a year ago. Now, it’s undeniable how it gained traction in the NFT space in just a few months. It’s one of the leading NFT collections made by a woman. Even celebrities such as Reese Witherspoon and Eva Longoria are WoW NFT holders.
Just recently, WoW partnered with The SandBox. It will launch the WoW Foundation to bring more women and diversity into the NFT and metaverse spaces. We look forward to what other exciting plans WoW will give its growing community this year.
