You can now visualize and book your holiday destination in VR, thanks to Next Earth and Lomob. The special partnership opens up a glamorous new market, which Next Earth and Lomob oversee.
Included in the partnership is Vueling Airlines, which will play a key role in developing tools and services to plan these fantastic journeys. What’s more, you will be able to book your flights and holiday in the metaverse.
This is a world first and introduces a transport layer to the metaverse. It opens up a whole new world to view without leaving your home. In fact, this could change how and why travellers engage in travel purchases.
Book your holiday in VR metaverse!
Next Earth and Lomob aim to solve real-world problems with their VR metaverse technology. Next Earth is a sustainability-focused metaverse, with upwards of 45 thousand virtual landowners.
Lomob is a creative blockchain company. Furthermore, it is developing a decentralized protocol for the world’s first mobility marketplace network. Together, and with the support of Vueling Airlines, they are using VR and AR to provide the best travel experience.
Users can track carbon emissions and book “carbon positive” transportation via the Metaverse and Lomob’s impressive app.
We are working alongside Next Earth to create the transportation infrastructure that enables a more exciting, purposeful and immersive way to traverse the planet,” said Boyd Cohen, CEO of Lomob. “Airlines are actively strategizing about how to bring their presence into the Metaverse, so extending our relationship with Vueling Airlines to augment their Web3 bookings is a fantastic initiative for everyone.”
Finally, this new holiday VR experience will significantly impact the travel industry. If successful, it won’t be long before others are also looking to enter the market.
