Dolce & Gabbana’s DGFamily NFT reveal is on the horizon. As such, NFT marketplace UNXD just announced that they will be using Chainlink’s Verifiable Random Function (VRF) for this anticipated event. In addition, UNXD will cover the approximate 0.02 ETH gas fees for the reveal of each DGFamily glass box.
Why Chainlink VRF?
More and more NFT projects are beginning to implement Chainlink’s VRF capabilities. It provides fair, unpredictable, verifiable, and tamper-proof on-chain randomness. In other words, Chainlink VRF will generate a random number for each DGFamily NFT. This creates a trustless and transparent environment for all the buyers.
Before the DGFamily NFT collection, UNXD uses an off chain or partially off chain solution for their NFT reveal processes. This is because a fully on chain solution is technically complex and expensive to implement. This means that the community has no choice but to trust that the team will not tamper with the randomization process.
Chainlink VRF sets a higher standard for UNXD and the DGFamily NFT launch. But we already know that the Dolce & Gabbana community expects nothing short of excellence.
About the DGFamily NFT collection
The DGFamily NFT collection follows the successful release of D&G‘s Collezione Genesi drop with UNXD. Now, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana strikes again with 3 variants of ornately carved, carretto-style jewelry box. The Black, Gold, and Platinum boxes bring different benefits to the holders, including physical D&G apparel drops!
These are not just any NFTs, but are actually the keys to access the D&G NFT universe. In the metaverse and IRL, the company promises a world of digital, physical, and experiential benefits.
