Last month, all of India celebrated the appointment of Parag Agrawal as Twitter’s new CEO. Recently, Vahdam India gifted Agrawal a personalized NFT to commemorate this momentous occasion. This meaningful piece is the company’s second NFT and is currently available on OpenSea.
The image features the happy Twitter CEO holding a cup of Vahdam tea with the news of his appointment on his desk. In addition, the globe signifies a wise quote from Agrawal: “The world is watching us right now, even more than they have before…and it’s a signal that the work we do here matters.” Twitter joins the likes of Microsoft, Adobe, and Alphabet to appoint a leader of Indian descent.
Twitter x Blockchain
Twitter’s new CEO is no stranger to the blockchain scene. Parag Agrawal was Twitter’s chief technology officer prior to taking the reins from Jack Dorsey. During that period, he led Twitter’s decentralized platform project, Bluesky, and also their cryptocurrency team.
Besides, Twitter has also made NFT headlines multiple times this year. Remember when Jack Dorsey sold his first tweet for $2.9 million? Or when Twitter released 140 pieces of Furry Twitter NFTs? On top of that, Twitter is also one of the social media platforms that is working towards NFT integration. This will allow users to import their NFTs to Twitter and use them as profile pictures. Additionally, Twitter will display verified checkmarks to halt ‘right click savers’.
Given the meaning and significance of this NFT, I personally cannot think of a better gift for Mr. Parag Agrawal.
