This week, Mr. Bean gave us a sneak peek into its upcoming NFT collection built on Ethereum! The popular character partnered with global content producer Banijay and Fomo Lab, a popular NFT-focused platform. Together, the three collaborators will bring Mr. Bean’s iconic personality to the Metaverse.
What should we know about the Mr. Bean Ethereum NFT collection?
On May 11th, the official Twitter account of Mr. Bean confirmed his debut NFT collection. To begin with, there will be 3,333 Mr. Bean collectibles living on Ethereum. Most of the digital assets depict the main character.
Nevertheless, the collection will also feature other characters from the cartoon series. In fact, yesterday Mr. Bean gave a sneak peek of his NFT collection via Twitter. There, we can see his beloved teddy bear, Teddy. Therefore, we can expect to see Scrapper the cat, Mrs. Wicket, and many more available as NFTs.
At this moment, the team behind Mr. Bean didn’t reveal an exact minting date. However, their partner Fomo Lab already created a Discord server dedicated to the NFT collection.
Why did Mr. Bean partner with Fomo Lab for the NFTs?
In short, Fomo Lab is a company that supports real-life brands in joining the web3 world. Soon, the team will launch its own NFT marketplace, the FomoSTAKE dApp, and a dedicated Metaverse. All of these innovative tools will facilitate companies’ debut on the NFT scene.
The Mr. Bean Ethereum collection is the first project involving Fomo Lab. The popular character also joined forces with Banijay – one of the leading digital content producers.
Until the Mr. Bean collectible drops, though, cartoon enthusiasts can enjoy the Lunartics NFT cartoon! This exclusive NFT animated series comes from the Simpsons x Futurama artist Julius Preite himself.
