Here at NFTevening.com, we have selected some of the best quotes from the entire three-day VeeCon conference! Taking place at the iconic US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota, it brought together some of the greatest minds and leaders in Web3 and popular culture.
VeeCon is a huge success!
The very first Veecon was a tremendous success. The first-ever NFT ticketed event was created and hosted by the enigmatic entrepreneur and social media legend Gary Vaynerchuk. You needed one of the NFTs from the popular VeeFriends collection to gain entry. The huge NFT and Web3 conference was one of a kind and brought together the entire NFT community.
It also featured some of the biggest stars in the world as keynote speakers. This included Snoop Dogg, Spike Lee, Kevin Smith, Deepak Chopra, Eva Longoria, Mila Kunis, Pharrell, Logan Paul and others.
Gary Vee managed to find time in his crazy schedule to meet with NFTevening.com for an exclusive interview. He talked about the first-ever VeeCon and how it became a reality. Gary also spoke about how blockchain is changing the way we do business.
He said, “you know, if you think about why eBay and uber are big businesses because they’re a marketplace that sits in the middle and both people on the sides do well. That’s what the blockchain does for every creative entrepreneur on earth”.
Pharrell and Snoop Dogg offer thoughts on Web3 and NFTs.
Pharrell Williams and Snoop Dogg are two of the most iconic rappers ever. Now, these innovative and creative masterminds are at the heart of the NFT movement. Talking onstage at VeeCon, Pharrell said, “The potential of the Blockchain and web3 is unlocking something that is scaring the system.”
Snoop Dogg has emerged as a massive advocate of NFTs in the last year, and the community has taken him to heart. He now has an extensive collection and has his own NFTs. However, at first, he didn’t know what they were. Snoop said, “When I first got my Bored Ape, I was like ‘why everybody monkey just sitting up there looking stupid?’, Can’t we do something with it?”
I’m Building!
Kmoney, the popular TikTok star offering satirical takes on the NFT space, attended VeeCon. His comedy skits have been incredibly successful in the NFT community, and he is perhaps the first NFT comedy star. Of course, his catchphrase “I’m Building” was on constant repeat throughout VeeCon, both ironically and unironically.
NFTevening.com VeeCon interviews with Andy Krainak and Rob Petrozzo
During the wonderful VeeCon conference, NFTevening.com spoke to some incredible people.
Speaking to Andy Krainak, VeeFriends President, he told us about the strategy and dedication it takes to succeed in the space. “Whether you’re building a community for a personal brand or an nft project or a restaurant, it comes down to daily content development and communication with your community and then thinking about how you can actually provide utility and take feedback, but then have a directional strategy based on that.”
We also spoke to Rob Petrozzo at VeeCon. He is Rally’s co-founder and chief product officer, the platform for creators and communities. Rob talked about the history of Rally and how easy it is for creatives to build and sell their product, thanks to the blockchain.
He said, “There’s builders and creators who are creating projects from scratch, launching and distributing to the entire world in a matter of days and weeks… We started to see that the relevance was going to be there long term.”
VeeCon was a hugely successful and fun NFT conference. There was so much on offer for people to see and do during the three days. This is the very first conference, and we look forward to seeing what Gary Vee and the team at VeeFriends come up with next!
Finally, all of our VeeCon interviews are now live on Youtube and you can see what we spoke to Gary, Andy, Rob and others about.
