Somnium Space Creator Fund Is The “Dragons Den” of The Metaverse

For the second installment of the Somnium Space Creator Fund, the social VR platform is adapting the Dragon’ Den format! This means that start-ups and creators can pitch their business ideas LIVE to a panel of venture capitalists in the hope of securing an investment from them.

After the first successful 2021 Season, where we saw the best of Somnium Creators, the 2022 Season of Creators Fund is back! Application for pitches is now open. All you have to do is accomplish the online application form.

2022 Somnium Space Creator Fund

The total available funding has surpassed $1 Million thanks to the support of industry heavyweights like Polygon, Winklevoss Capital and Vinny Lingham. The initiative aims to create a place where participants can apply and win CUBEs (Somnium’s utility token) from investors. In addition, the official announcement describes the atmosphere as “Shark Tank meets Late Night Show in VR.”

This 2022, the team wants to take the Somnium Space Creator Fund to the next level by introducing the LIVE pitch element. So the participants would have to impress the investors’ panel from Somnium and partner companies involved.

Meanwhile, the platform will also showcase its VR capacity because all the action will happen inside Somnium Space. So all the deals and decision-making will happen right there! In addition, participants will have the opportunity of speaking in VR and build a relationship with the impressive backers. The recipients of the grants will have access to the best investors, mentors and community to develop their projects.
