Saudi Princess Reem Al Faisal is launching a debut NFT photography collection in a remarkable turn of events. An actual princess is entering the NFT space. The “Mekkah and Madinah” project on OpenSea is now live. You can purchase one of these 15 NFTs for as little as 0.2 ETH.
The NFT collection features beautiful imagery of the Saudi shrine, Al Kabbah. There is also a metaverse gallery displaying the artwork and six other Saudi artists.
Princess Reem Al Faisal is not simply shilling an NFT. She is the owner of a prestigious art gallery called The Empty Quarter in Dubai. Furthermore, she has authored several photography books. The princess is highly regarded in the industry.
Although she works primarily in black and white, the princess has adopted colour into her work in recent years. Additionally, she has displayed in The UK, The USA, China, Spain, France and many more.
Meanwhile, in a statement about her NFT collection, the princess said, “In the present day, we made historical past by the primary exhibition of Saudi NFTs within the Metaverse. I’ve been photographing all my life since I used to be a baby. Due to this fact, It’s as pure to me as speaking or respiratory.
Finally, photography is developing into a significant market for NFTs this year. It is exciting to see so many incredible new artists entering the space, and it is going to be interesting to see how these artists progress.
