Digital artist Emily Yang recognized as pplpleasr collaborates with Brut Media to release a limited-edition NFT collection. The NFTs grants access to in-person events at the upcoming Cannes Film Festival on May 17th-28th.
Pplpleasr Will Release Producer Pass NFTs
The 75 animated Producer Pass NFTs are Ethereum-based and you can mint one on pplpleasr’s own NFT platform Shibuya. Each NFT features an animated loop of a white fox walking down a red carpet. Yet, the other specific traits of the NFT depends on its tier: Bronze, Silver, or Gold.
Pplpleasr’s Bronze-tier NFTs cost 5 ETH (around $14,000) to mint. It will grant holders access to the red carpet event, as well as a film screening on the festival’s first day.
Silver-tier NFTs cost 6 ETH (around $16,800) and will grant owners access to the red carpet event. Moreover, holders can also see the screening of a specific film, such as ‘Top Gun: Maverick,’ ‘Elvis,’ or ‘Three Thousand Years of Longing’.
The most coveted NFT type, the Gold tier, will cost 7 ETH (around $19,600). It gives its owner access to either the opening or closing ceremony of the 75th Cannes Film Festival. This also includes the ceremony’s corresponding red carpet event.
Ultimately, the funds raised in the NFT sale will continue to empower female content creators. According to Pplpleasr, she will donate all proceeds to the Annenberg Accelerator Program, which is an initiative set up by the University of Southern California.
