Victoria Fuller, Playboy magazine’s Playmate of the Month for January 1996, has announced the launch of Playboy’s Rogue Playmates NFT collection. The project intends to help female artists and entrepreneurs in male-dominated Crypto Space. Moreover, Playmates is also giving control over their IP and providing unique opportunities to connect with fans.
Playboy’s Rogue Playmates NFT gives access to a Metaverse Mansion
Basically, the first NFT drop will include 9,600 generative NFTs. Interestingly, Fuller, who serves as Project Director and multimedia artist Dutch Bihary digitally hand-painted the NFTs.
Moving along, the NFT collection will release on March 30 with a Whitelist presale beginning on March 28. Given that, Fans can gain access to the Whitelist, contests, and Playmate hangouts via joining the Gatefold Discord. Essentially, the initial sales will take place on their official website with secondary sales taking place on OpenSea.
Victoria Fuller stated, “The mission of Rogue Playmates is to shed the bunny persona and empower these women. And take hold of their destiny by creating something that will be under their control.”
Furthermore, every collector who buys one of the generative NFTs will receive an airdrop of a members-only golden key. This will grant them access to the virtual Rogue Mansion. As a result, players can interact in real-time with Rogue Playmates in the Metaverse.
Future Rogue Mansion iterations will include interactive AR and VR options. Also, trading cards including dozens of Playmates will feature in upcoming NFT drops.
