The NFT Factory, a collective of Web3 pioneers, is all set to open a 400 square meter space in Paris in September 2022. The project’s mission is to position France as a leader in all things Web3 and NFTs. Set up by experts with backgrounds in art, tech, and cryptocurrencies, the NFT Factory will host events, training courses, and conferences.
“We are convinced that the future leaders of this industry will be the successors of Gafam,” John Karp, co-founder, president of the NFT Factory told Le Monde. “If we don’t ride this new wave, we will be overtaken by the United States or China. This project is therefore part of a proactive approach, which involves raising people’s awareness”.
The NFT Factory: All you need to know
First announced last week, the NFT Factory includes 51 tech and crypto leaders, artists, and investors. It also includes executives from firms like Arianee, LaCollection, Dogami, Ledger, NFT Morning Podcast, RTFKT Studios, The Sandbox, Sorare, and more. Needless to say, the team boasts a wealth of experience.
Already, the project has planned several things for this year. Firstly, it will launch an NFT collection in May. The collection of 1,000 NFTs designed by Obvious will serve as a membership pass. Basically, holders will get priority registration at NFT Factory’s events and several additional benefits.
Next, the project will organise a two-day event, called the NFT Pop-up Factory, in Paris. The event will feature an NFT exhibition, conferences with leaders in the NFT space, and paid training sessions. In September, the team will open a 400 square meter space in Paris. This will include Comptoir to collect and trade NFTs and a gallery to host exhibitions. It will also have an event space to organise meetups, conferences, and training sessions for corporates. Besides, artists and entrepreneurs will also have a co-working space.
