Digital yacht dealer Cloud Yachts has listed a new build superyacht for sale as an NFT for $95 million. Alex Clarke, one of the world’s leading superyacht brokers at Denison Yachting, has joined Cloud Yachts to offer clients AR technology to build their superyacht. Acclaimed naval architect Gregory C Marshall built the 63-meter superyacht, called Project Metaverse. If sold, this will superyacht will create history as the highest-priced NFT.
“I am beyond excited to help pioneer this revolutionary new build process with Gregory Marshall Naval Architects, Delta Marine and Cloud Yachts,” Clarke told Boat International. “When I first heard about the Gregory Marshall NFT new build project I knew I had to be involved as feel this will be a groundbreaking project and implement a shift in the way yachts are built and sold.”

Project Metaverse will launch on March 24 during the Palm Beach International Boat Show. North American Shipyard, Delta Marine will be building this superyacht. Marshall, Clarke, Delta Marine, and Cloud Yachts together listed the historic superyacht NFT for sale on MLS, giving people a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own a limited edition NFT and a new build superyacht.
Actually, Cloud Yachts has built partnerships with some of the biggest names in the industry to mint and sell NFTs. This includes Bob Denison, Alex Jimenez, Bannenberg & Rowell, Marco Casali, and more. The platform came under the limelight after its first NFT drop during the Miami Yacht Show last month. Together with Marshall, Cloud Yachts developed limited-edition superyacht designs and sold 10 of those during the show for 1 ETH.
Late last year, a Super Mega Yacht NFT in The Sandbox was sold for $650,000. However, it had no real-life version.
