Sadly, Twitter scammer @champtgraam is impersonating an NFT influencer for a fake charity. The NFT influencer @champtgram tweeted himself that he would never ask for money.
Unfortunately, the fake account has over 10K followers already. He has already asked several people to donate their money.
The scammer has even asked a few people to mint a project. While the NFT influencer requested to report the scammer, the fake account is still live.
The scammer is affecting the positives of the crypto world.
Recently, we mentioned another NFT artist who was posing as Ukrainian to increase NFT sales. Fortunately, Crypto Twitter is now alert about it.
On the other hand, the crypto community is coming together to help Ukraine as much as it can. A couple of days ago, the official Twitter account shared a Bitcoin and Ethereum address to receive crypto donations. Donors can use the information to help Ukrainians through BTC, ETH and USDT.
Likewise, Murat Pak also donated 670 ETH to the official Ukraine wallet.
To date, many people in the cryptocurrency and NFT space have given generously. Pussy Riot’s Nadya, for example, has launched UkraineDAO to raise funds for Ukrainians. Binance’s CZ and Tron’s Justin Sun, among others, have expressed interest in donating. Polkadot’s Gavin Wood also requested a DOT link in order to donate $5 million to the cause.
Given how frequently the crypto and NFT spaces promote their community-first mantra, it’s heartening to see everyone from regular joes to crypto billionaires step up to the plate.
Those interested can find the donation addresses on the official tweet.
