‘Made by Apes’ Is The New Era of BAYC Licensing
BAYC and MAYC holders can now officially register their products and businesses with a special license on the newly launched ‘Made by Apes’ platform. This groundbreaking move, in partnership with SaaSyLabs, introduces a first-of-its-kind on-chain licensing for builders like you.
Owning a BAYC or MAYC NFT will grant holders a broad license for both personal and commercial use. The license is a certification that you own or have a licensed legitimate BAYC or MAYC NFT. Furthermore, the platform lets holders use the Yuga-made logo. Since BAYC’s debut in April 2021, we’ve seen projects emerge, like Ape Water, Bored Sauce and Bored & Hungry.
To get your license, holders need to connect a digital wallet and go through the easy registration process. There are two license options. The first is an option of a Primary License, the main license for a specific Ape. Secondly, there are Product Licenses to associate different Apes with different products. Moreover, you can request as many Product Licenses as you want, there are no limits.
Significantly, by joining the program, users’ goods and services will be featured in Yuga Labs’s online directory, The Bodega. So, stay tuned for its launch later this summer.
