The Azuki NFT collection continues to impress, and now, they have made their first $1 million sale. Azuki #9605 sold for 420.69 ETH in a breathtaking deal, around $1.2 million. This sale is a massive moment for Azuki, the pfp collection, which is still in the early days.
The Azuki NFT project launched in January, using a dutch auction model, beginning at 1 ETH. The floor price for one of these is 18.77 ETH (around $61,826,00).
Azuki NFT sale shows how the project is growing
The new owner of Azuki #9605 is very pleased with their purchase. Speaking on Twitter, @Bitcoin4Freedom, said, “I have acquired THE crown jewel of the famed Azuki collection, #9605! #2 in rarity and #1 of the Spirit Azuki’s Honored!”
As he says, this particular NFT is the second rarest Azuki and number one in the Spirit Azuki’s Honored list. However, the rarest of all, #2152, is currently worth 500 ETH ($1.69 million) on Opensea. Although, that doesn’t mean the owner will accept a bid.
Meanwhile, Azuki is much more than just an NFT collection. Furthermore, owning one of these NFTs gives you access to ‘The Garden’. The Azuki website describes it as “a corner of the internet where art, community, and culture fuse to create magic”.
What’s more, this is where you can find exclusive streetwear collabs, NFT drops, live events, and more.
Finally, Azuki continues to reward their community. Today they airdropped two surprise NFTs to all Azuki NFT holders. The ‘Something Official’ NFTs are already selling on OpenSea for 3 ETH upwards.
