Recently, Beeple, a widely popular digital artist, shared a picture of his NFT art, which resembles an original mutant ape.
However, the NFT community was constantly comparing it to the mutant ape. While some appreciated the artist’s version more than the original ape.
Beeple and MAYC
Just a few days ago, a mutant serum was brought for 888.0 ETH by Taylor Gerring. After which, he used this mega serum and generated a rare MAYC ape in a live stream on the Twitch platform. (see picture)
So, Beeple randomly designed his version of the above mentioned Mutant ape. Clearly, the digital artist is stealing the IP rights to Bored Ape via his Mutant Sketch. For the uninitiated, intellectual property theft involves robbing people or companies of their ideas, inventions, and creative expressions.
Currently, the whole NFT community is a fan of the Bored Ape Yacht Club. Already, several celebrities are proud members of BAYC. Furthermore, Beeple’s sketch certainly shows his admiration for BAYC as well.
