Eminem appears to be investing in blockchain for the long haul. The well-known rapper recently acquired an ENS domain name, eminem.eth.
For the uninitiated, an ‘ENS domain’ essentially allows a user to ‘shorten’ their alphanumeric wallet address into a ‘domain name’ format. Frequently, the ENS domain serves as an ‘identity’ on social media platforms such as Twitter.
Eminem’s Rising love for crypto
The rapper bought a Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT for 123.45 ETH ($461,868.42) on the last day of 2021. “EminApe,” which depicts Eminem’s iconic Bored Ape figure wearing a khaki army cap and a gold chain necklace, both of which he frequently wears in real life, is the name of the bored ape.
Furthermore, there is speculation that the singer will dedicate a song to the BAYC community. If this happens, it will be a huge boost for the Bored Ape Yacht Club.
Clearly, Eminem is taking NFTs and the crypto industry seriously.
Finally, music NFTs are all the rage right now, with their popularity growing by the day. It has never been easier to record, sell, and turn your music into an NFT.
This method also allows you to manage your digital assets and finances. It also allows you to communicate with your fan base more easily. This is why many music industry insiders believe that NFTs are the future of music.
