Wisher Vodka Celebrates World Cocktail Day in Decentraland Metaverse
Wisher Vodka is a women-owned Vodka brand that exists entirely in the metaverse. Also, Wisher released a collection of 1,056 cocktail-themed NFTs on March 12.
“Since we broke ground on our meta-distillery last September in Decentraland and have been hosting weekly parties since, we wanted to throw a big happy hour to recognize World Cocktail Day,” co-founder Emily Gillis-Terry explained. “And we thought why not make it the biggest happy hour yet in Decentraland.”
On 13th May, the World Cocktail Day celebrations began with a DJ set from Kong at 5 pm EST. Further, at 6 pm guitarist John Marvin Scott took Wisher’s Meta-Distillery stage followed by Toigo at 7 pm.
“Before even a drop of vodka was sold at brick-and-mortar, we wanted to launch Wisher in the Metaverse to celebrate our earliest supporters and biggest fans,” co-founder Kimberly LaRose said. “The Web 3.0 community has welcomed us with open arms, and we want to welcome everyone to our meta-distillery as we attempt to establish a world record for the biggest bash in Decentraland this Friday.”
Finally, the metaverse-first Wisher Vodka is making progress towards changing how the alcohol industry operates. However, you need to be at least 21 years of age to enjoy Wisher Vodka or own its NFTs.
