Animoca Brands just bought $3m worth of star atlas NFT spaceships

Star Atlas has confirmed that venture capital company, Animoca Brands, purchased $3 million worth of Star Atlas NFT spaceships.

Star Atlas is a Solana based Triple-A strategy gaming metaverse, growing rapidly in popularity. Furthermore, the NFT spaceships are part of the wider Galactic Asset Offering (GAO) with some exciting features. In fact, there are several different NFT spaceships, ranging in value from $15 to as much as $100,000.

Meanwhile, the most sought after are the Titan Ships, which Star Atlas describes as “the ultimate piece of space travel”. Animoca Brands hasn’t confirmed which NFT spaceships it has purchased; it is certainly a significant amount. The total adds up to $3 million. Perhaps they are building a star fleet?

The GAO is an essential step in the development of Star Atlas. Most importantly, they will use all of the revenue generated from the GAO to develop the Star Atlas metaverse. 

Additionally, the CEO and Co-founder of Star Atlas had this to say about the NFT spaceship partnership, “These spaceships will allow players to create value from their participation in the ecosystem. With the help of Animoca Brands’ partnership, we hope to become a leader in the play-to-earn space. By creating a metaverse with the opportunity for players to create a real-world impact on their lives.”

Finally, the Star Atlas game itself is incredibly promising. The NFT community is hopeful that this could help blockchain-based games to enter the mainstream.

Now, big names like Animoca Brands are buying NFT spaceships. Evidently, this is a sign that Star Atlas might conquer the gaming metaverse world.
