The rumoured Naruto NFTs have delisted, potentially jeopardising the NFT project. Consequently, raising questions as to whether the creators behind the NFTs ever got the Naruto license.
Naruto NFTs Delisted
Naruto is one of the biggest entertainment franchises on the planet. At the start of the month, artist @yxdi hinted on Twitter that a Naruto NFT might be in the pipeline with a range of cryptic tweets. Therefore, suggesting the NFTs might come quicker than we think.
Today, however, it seems this may be a distant reality, with @yxdi posting images of Naruto NFTs on Twitter quickly delisted them due to copyright infringement, suggesting that the creators behind the NFTs might not have the rights to create the digital art.
Although the strike could be accidental, it is strange considering the hints by @yxdi earlier this month. Similarly, fans seemed dismayed on Twitter. Many seemed confused about the delisted Naruto NFTs, suggesting that the delisting might not be legitimate.
Nevertheless, only time will tell if the creators had the Naruto franchise’s licence. As a result, we will only know the answer to this question if the Naruto NFTs come to light in the forthcoming months. Regardless, the Naruto brand is so popular we should expect to see Naruto NFTs soon.
