According to Twitter user @Apebayc, Eminem will dedicate a song on his new album to the BAYC community. Apebayc suggests that he has inside information about the project, telling his Twitter users, “a little birdie told me”. To be featured on an Eminem album is a massive achievement for anyone, never mind for an NFT project, barely a year old.
Eminem is taking the BAYC community serious. If this happens, it will give the Bored Ape Yacht Club a massive boost worldwide. Last week Eminem purchased BAYC #9055 for $462 thousand. On Spotify alone, Eminem achieves over 44 million views a month.
He joins an exclusive list of celebrities, including Post Malone, Steph Curry and Jimmy Fallon. Furthermore, he changed his Twitter profile to his bored ape.
Eminem and the BAYC community
Eminem is a global superstar, and his connection with BAYC hasn’t gone unnoticed. In addition, many are also suggesting that the Bored Ape Yacht Club might feature in the NFL Super Bowl half-time show on February 13th.
It could cement BAYC as the premier NFT project, overtaking CryptoPunks as the number one.
Finally, Music NFTs are all the rage at the moment, growing in popularity day by day. It has never been easier to record and sell your music and turn it into an NFT.
Additionally, this method lets you control your digital property and finances. It also gives you easier access to communicate with your fan base. This is why many industry insiders view NFTs as the future of music. Eminem certainly does, and the BAYC community have taken him to heart.
