The popular Metaverse Upland has changed its business model. The new model will be titled Venture Dues. It will promote healthy economic principles. Venture Dues will encourage open competition, removing barriers to entry.
The previous model charged Upland users a fee to open up a business. It needed users to seek approval from the Upland team. Thus, costing them in the process. Moreover, the previous model only enabled a certain number of licenses. Therefore, creating barriers to entry. The new model will eliminate these problems.
Venture Dues will Enable Healthy Competition
The new model will remove all barriers to entry by making users pay a monthly fee instead of upfront costs.
The variable fee will be calculated based on contributions made by Venture Dues business owners to the Upland community. The payment will depend on the business in each locale.
Moreover, the new business model will enable anyone to start a business in Upland. Hence, success will be based on how a user grows their business. The new model will enable healthy competition. It will also allow an even level playing field for owners.
Uplands will also rename player-owned businesses to Metaventures. As a result, the name change signifies the shift away from its prior business model.
Summing up, Venture Dues is the next step for the Upland Metaverse. The business model will promote healthy economics in time for its launch.
