Bored Ape Yacht Club will be getting their very own animated series next year, according to Twitter, exciting fans about the prospects of an animation.
Bored Ape Series Incoming!
Cameron Moulène, actor and founder of Non-Fungible films, a production and entertainment company, announced the news on social media. Cameron initially stated that the BAYC was considering a licensing agreement to feature Bored Apes in an animation form. The actor then quickly verified the announcement a couple of hours later.
Furthermore, he confirmed that he would hold a casting for the community after announcing partners. Likewise, he also affirmed that the show would feature Bored Apes outside the collection.
Response to the Bored Apes animated series has been all-around positive. Fans and community members took to Twitter to express their excitement for the animated show, with many expressing their interest in taking part, by posting pictures of their own NFTs on Twitter
Cameron responded to the positive reaction from the community by stating that it had moved him and that casting for the animated series would come later in 2022. He said:
Oh my god. The instant positive response honestly has me emotional. There’s nothing like Web3 and the power of our communities. #BAYC CASTING coming in 2022.
In short, we should expect to see a Bored Apes animated series very soon, with casting just around the corner.
