We’re All Beginning to Doubt whether Paris Hilton’s NFT Advocacy is Real or Not

Digital artist Leaf Swan (@leaf_swan) is questioning Paris Hilton’s sincerity and NFT advocacy! She sent a DM to the hotel heiress, now a world-renowned business and media icon, expressing her frustrations.

Hilton is one of the first celebrities to embrace and support NFTs as a collector, creator, investor and advisor of Origin Protocol.

Community Pitches in Over Leaf Swan’s Doubts on Paris Hilton’s NFT Advocacy

Back in April, Hilton launched her own NFT Collection by collaborating with designer Blake Kathryn. One of the pieces, called the Iconic Crypto Queen, sold for over $1.1 Million. She’s had a high-profile Tonight Show appearance, a DJ set at the Decentraland Metaverse Music Festival. Then, two months ago, she listed some of the NFTs from her personal collection on auction house Sotheby’s new NFT marketplace, Metaverse.

With such an extensive list of NFT accolades, Leaf Swan’s sentiments about Hilton quickly drew comments from the NFT Community.

On one end, some users feel that Hilton’s actions are justifiable. User @thej0n tweeted, “Well, she follows more than 13k on that one account.. I would be happy with just a follow tbh. Wouldn’t expect too much from someone this famous (and this busy probably).” Others had a similar argument citing that the Hollywood icon probably has a big team and agency managing her social media account.

Meanwhile, others backed up Leaf Swan, citing reasons like some celebrities are only in the space for clout. Replying to one of the comments, Leaf Swan added, “it’s just my opinion. one day she were all up into nft’s and collabs and then you never hear anything anymore.”

So why exactly is she doing this? Leaf Swan said that she’s giving Paris Hilton 12 hours to reply. Then, if she doesn’t hear from her, she’ll pull the trigger and click the UNFOLLOW button. As of press time, Hilton has not replied to the DM.
