Why Untamed Elephants NFTs are better off without their ex-founder

In a Twitter thread by @Zenecca_33, it was revealed that the founder of Untamed Elephants is involved in questionable behaviour.

Untamed Elephants is a beautiful NFT project, community-based and focused on charitable causes. The website describes the project as ‘a community dedicated to using NFTs, art and cutting-edge tech to raise money for African and Asian elephants.’

However, if it were down to the founder, the Untamed Elephants wouldn’t exist. After launch, he tried to sell the project and left the new community in the dark about the whole project.

Of course, it would be just another pfp project that failed after selling out the entire collection.

Community is a massive part of Untamed Elephants and why there are still here. Eventually, the community found a buyer in Adam Ghahramani.

Now, the company is thriving with significant goals and targets for 2022. Unlike real elephants, they no longer face extinction, who need all the help they can get.

For several reasons, the Twitter thread exposed the founder, known as @ToxicIsLurking. Firstly, he confessed in a DM that he had done several projects and “they all sell out”. Furthermore, he talked about the large sums he received for these projects and how it is easy to do so. Untamed Elephants was just another way to make money for him.

Building an NFT project takes time, and many people put effort and money into supporting it. To know that the founder is in it just for the money goes against everything NFTs are supposed to represent.
