The family-friendly Cool Cats, known for their cutesy design created a Christmas NFT with a wholesome amount of goodwill sprinkled on top. As NFTs have been booming, it is always fantastic to see the community giving back.
People have their eyes on Cool Cats very early on in their lifespan. Being the NFT company that slashed their prices from 0.06 ETH ($125-$140 at the time) to 0.02 ETH ($50). This controversial marketing ploy seemed to work out in their favour. As of now, the average price for a Cool Cat is 7.199 ETH. That is $30,000 at this time of writing.
The randomly generated characters had 10,000 characters in the first generation. When the co-founders started Cool Cats they sold 360 cats. As of right now, there are 5,049 owners of Cool Cat NFTs. The clever folk who got in early made some serious profit. Former owner of the robot-themed #3330 netted the initial owner over $400,000 in profit.
They have a devoted fan base due to their goodwill and this Christmas the team at Cool Cats are putting their money where their mouth is. Collaborating with 501(c)3 nonprofit Blankets of Hope, they have created Cozy Cat, an NFT where all the proceeds go to Blankets of Hope. The nonprofit raises money to give blankets to the homeless of New York.
The Cozy Cat NFT officially sold for 7 ETH changing hands from rightclickgive to its lucky owner. With Cool Cats history of taking risky, but worthwhile gambles, their devoted fan base and giving back to the community it is fair to say that they will probably be making headlines again.
