Bali NFT Week organizers SOULRICH® are being accused on Twitter of swindling a $50k investment. As a result of these accusations, @anonscontent came out on Twitter to give more clarity about this situation.
What @anonscontent had to say about SOULRICH®
According to @anonscontent, he left Bali NFT Week organizers SOULRICH® “due to manipulative and questionable business practices, and for not protecting me and my $50K investment.” After countless conflicts, verbal threats and unprofessional behavior, @anonscontent decided to leave to protect his own well-being.
In regards to his $50K investment, @anonscontent said: “Well the blockchain doesn’t lie. Attached is my transaction to @soulrichteam for just over $50K in $USDC. Past few months, I have been under contract exclusively with @soulrichteam.”
During his tenure, SOULRICH® altered his contract. He was initially set to receive 10% of the NFT collection mint revenue and 10% of all royalties. However, the Bali NFT Week organizers eventually changed it to “being Director of Communications with equity TBD.”
He continued to say SOULRICH® never paid him for his work, except for $1K towards a hotel for NFT.NYC. However, the Bali NFT Week organizers reassured him that his investment made him a part of the core team.
“After deciding to part ways, I requested my investment back on August 16th and have not received any formal contact with the team since. Instead they have proceeded to block my profile on their social media accounts and ignore my emails and text messages.”
Not only that, but Bali NFT Week is also a result of @anonscontent and @ImmersedVR’s investments. Therefore, @anonscontent decided to breach his contract and call out the bad actors in the NFT community.
What is Bali NFT Week?
Bali NFT Week, which takes place between September 8 and 17, promises to “restore the soul of Web3.” According to organizers, it is a week of NFT and wellness events. However, its reputation has already been damaged because of the accusations made by @anonscontent and NFT Twitter.
