Country music superstar Brian Kelley of the Florida Georgia Line taps into NFTs with a country music-themed project: The Chill Cowboy Country Club.
The debut NFT drop comes with plenty of utility, including access to Bryan and his wife Brittney’s country festival, Chill Fest. Accordingly, the two-day event will host wine and food tastings, shooting, TedTalks, and more!
What is Bryan Kelley’s Chill Cowboy Country Club NFT project?
In essence, Chill Cowboy Country Club (CCCC) is an avatar-style collection of 6,000 NFTs conceptualized by Bryan and Brittney Kelley. The cowboy-themed collectibles feature over 260 traits and they live on Ethereum.
Surprisingly, each NFT comes with full IP commercial rights. This means you can use the avatar however you want. Holders will also benefit from exclusive merch, behind-the-scenes content, and discounts from all brand partners.
What are the perks of NFT holders?
The CCCC collectibles come in three tiers with different perks as follows:
- General Admission: all of the perks listed above plus virtual country concerts and private chat access;
- V.I.P.: all of the General Admission perks plus VIP events access, extra discounts, and more surprises to come;
- Legendary: all of the V.I.P. perks and special giveaways along with a Legendary Chill Fest Experience.
Note that all of the NFTs are distributed randomly among minters. Therefore, the price per NFT is ~$500 regardless of the tier. Holders will be able to check their NFT’s tier at the buckle in the corner of each digital artwork.
The most exciting part is undoubtedly the NFTs’ access to the Chill Cowboy Fest. The NFT-powered festival will be organized by Brian Kelley himself, so let’s find out more!
Which experiences does the Chill Cowboy Fest offer?
In short, Chill Cowboy Fest is a two-day event created by Brian Kelley for CCCC NFT holders only. There, attendees will be able to enjoy shooting, Ted Talks, jewelry crafting, wine tastings, and even local trips – all while listening to top country music.
The founding team will reveal the date and location of the event at least 180 days in advance. Each Chill Cowboy NFT holder will receive their digital tickets as NFTs ahead of the event.
“Chill Fest is a once-a-year festival we’re looking forward to building,” said Brian Kelley. “We love hosting, we love throwing parties, we love bringing people together and being super intentional about every move that’s made with those parties.”
To conclude, Brian and Brittney Kelley’s debut NFTs have outstanding real-life utility. In fact, the couple’s main goal was to connect country music enthusiasts in the Web3 era.
However, this isn’t the first country-themed NFT project. The legendary performer Dolly Parton teamed up with FOX Entertainment’s Blockchain Creative Labs earlier this year to create her own Metaverse. Both projects go to show that the NFT market is still expanding rapidly to new niches – country music included.
