The University of Tokyo embraces the Web3 era with its own Metaverse-focused course! The new courses will be available for high school students and adult workers. In fact, the university will even display positions available in the domain in its Todai metaverse. All course participants will receive official certifications too.

Why does the University of Tokyo offer Metaverse courses?

The University of Tokyo, known as Todai, is ready to share its Metaverse knowledge with a new course. Accordingly, the new program will help students and workers understand how the Metaverse works. The course will operate under the Todai Faculty of Engineering and its related graduate schools.

Together, experts will teach attendees the importance of the Metaverse in our current society. In fact, the University of Tokyo hopes to solve a major issue: finding employees trained for the Metaverse.

“Thanks to the metaverse, there could be a way for anyone, no matter their age, gender, socioeconomic status, or where they live, to learn about engineering and information science,” officials said.

Who can join the new Metaverse program?

In essence, the University of Tokyo welcomes everyone to its upcoming Metaverse course. Notably, the school encourages women to join it too. “Female students remain underrepresented in university engineering degrees,” a school representative said.
