VeeCon is the debut NFT conference created and hosted by entrepreneur, investor, author, and social media personality Gary Vee. Furthermore, all tickets for the conference were Ethereum NFTs, airdropped to owners of Gary Vee’s VeeFriends NFTs. Moreover, the NFT event was a huge success, bringing together many famous people in Web3 and pop culture. At NFTevening, we have compiled a list of famous celebrities you wish you met at this year’s VeeCon.
1. Logan Paul
To start our list, we have American social media influencer Logan Paul attending VeeCon 2022 on Saturday. Moreover, he is one of the first social media personalities to dive head-on into the NFT space.
Since 2021, Logan has invested in NFTs and even launched his own collection and DAO. Recently, he also bought a rare holographic VeeFriend for 90 ETH as he believes in GaryVee’s NFT vision.
2. Pharrell Williams
Pharrell Williams is a 13-time Grammy Award-winning musician, producer, and fashion designer. Moreover, Pharrell appeared at VeeCon on Saturday and explained how he sees the underlying technology of NFTs empowering social progress.
Now, Pharrell is exploring how NFTs can disrupt the traditional music space and enhance the connection between artists and fans.
3. Snoop Dogg
Last year, Snoop Dogg emerged as a massive NFT advocate, so obviously, he was spotted at this year’s VeeCon. Apart from having an extensive NFT collection, the international rap sensation has also released some of his own collections.
4. Brycent
Brycent was an early creator of the first disruptive play-to-earn game, Axie Infinity. Moreover, his live streaming and community growth efforts have propelled him to become a prominent NFT gaming figure.
Brycent appeared at the VeeCon 2022 as a speaker, sharing NFT gaming with the crowd.
5. Eva Longoria
Eva Longoria is a Hollywood actor and producer who recently joined the Board of Advisors for the NFT platform Autograph. In fact, she was one of the big names at the VeeCon NFT conference.
6. Steve Aoki
Over the last couple of years, DJ and artist Steve Aoki has been a prominent NFT creator and collector. In fact, Aoki created one of the most unforgettable moments of VeeCon 2022 when he caked Beeple in the face.
7. Seth Green
Next on our list of celebrities is actor and producer Seth Green, who fans spotted at the VeeCon this year. Furthermore, he has been working on a new animated series, White Horse Tavern, based on a Bored Ape NFT.
However, his new project is in jeopardy as he fell for a phishing scam earlier this month, losing four NFTs.
8. Chuck Liddell (The Iceman)
Former UFC champion Chuck Liddell, famously known as the Iceman, also attended the VeeCon this year. On the VeeCon stage, Chuck gave credit to Lazy Lions for being one of his first NFTs he still loves.
9. Guy Oseary
Next up on our list is music manager Guy Oseary, who started managing NFTs early this year. Also, his NFT roster includes big names like Bored Ape Yacht Club, Yuga Labs, and World of Women.
10. Beeple
Last but not least, one of the most famous and valuable NFT artists, Beeple, was there at VeeCon. Last year, he made a record-breaking NFT sale of $69.3 million at Christie’s, bringing art NFTs to light. In case you missed it, Steve Aoki caked Beeple’s face onstage at the VeeCon 2022.
All in all, VeeCon was a one-of-a-kind NFT event. Also, with so many high-profile celebrities and an impressive atmosphere, the first VeeCon was indeed an incredible success. Thus, we look forward to what Gary Vee and his team at VeeFriends have in mind for VeeCon 2023.
