A leading data network for interactive NFTs, HALO is collaborating with the decentralized 3D artist community to launch virtual humans. The HALO NFTs, which will represent your virtual identity, are what you need to enter the HALO metaverse. Indeed, these are not your average virtual avatars—these are avatars created by 3D modelling.
Virtual humans: What are HALO NFTs?
Created by the decentralized 3D artist community, HALO NFTs are 3D virtual humans. Thanks to high-precision 3D modelling, these avatars are simulated from real-life human beings. The results are stunning, realistic, virtual humans.
In fact, after watching these avatars in HALO’s teaser, fans flocked to the project’s Discord server. Within a week’s time, the Discord community reached almost 20,000 members. On the other hand, HALO currently boasts over 32,000 Twitter followers.
So, what makes these virtual humans special?
The first reason, of course, is their high-precision human being design. Next, as these are interactive NFTs, you can control their movements as well as feelings in the virtual world. You can also use the NFTs to interact in the real world through Zoom, Discord, and TikTok, among others.
For example, you can use the images on Instagram and TikTok. Alternatively, you can use the virtual humans to host live streams on Discord and Twitter or hold office meetings on Zoom and Google Meet. To be sure, these NFTs bridge the gap between the real and virtual world. As HALO explained, these virtual humans help “people connect to another world and be reborn in Web3.”
All in all, there are 5,000 HALO NFTs in the collection. The project will release the NFTs in different themes in batches.
Besides, HALO will host ‘HALO SHOWs’, a first-of-its-kind competition for virtual human NFTs in the metaverse. HALO will host five SHOWs in all, featuring 1,000 NFTs in each SHOW. Furthermore, in each SHOW, community members will have the ability to create, operate, and vote for the NFTs. What’s more, the top NFTs will win a range of prizes from HALO!
Meet the 3D artist community behind HALO
Four world-renowned artists are behind the coveted HALO NFTs—Vimal Kerketta, Jonathan Bacheter, Omar Madaeen, and Nikita. Hailing from India, Vimal is a 3D artist and facial modeller at the film studio, DNeg. The studio has worked on movies like Harry Potter, Star Effect, and Sherlock Holmes.
Meanwhile, Jonathan is a 3D visual artist from France, who has worked on several films, including The Little Mermaid and Thor: Love and Thunder. He has also worked on the Marvel series, Moonknight, and worked for Dwarf Animation, a leading stop-motion animation company.
Jordan-based Omar, on the other hand, is a 3D artist focusing on character modelling, sculpting, and 3D digital art. He has designed images and memes for Alrai Newspaper, the largest news company in Jordan. Lastly, Nikita is a talented teen 3D artist from Russia, who has worked as a 3D designer for Shibabets NFT project.
All things considered, HALO is an exciting new metaverse project to hit the blockchain. In the future, the project has plans to collaborate with brands to release merch including clothes, jewellery, music, and dolls, to name a few. Eventually, the HALO NFTs will enter various metaverses such as Decentraland, NFT Worlds, and The Sandbox, among others.
Visit the HALO website to learn more about the project. Make sure to also follow HALO on Twitter and join its Discord server for all the latest updates.
The project will soon host an AMA on its Twitter page, along with its 3D artists to discuss HALO NFTs, 3D art and other related content. The audience will also have a chance to win randomly dropped whitelist spots!
