World of Women has just airdropped 3D versions of WoW outfits designed by The Fabricant to all its holders! The two brands announced their partnership early this month. Indeed, both the projects have female co-founders and are united in their mission to bring more women into the Web3 space.
World Of Women x The Fabricant: Meet the metaverse outfits
Through its exclusive partnership with World of Women, the Fabricant has turned all original 27 clothes traits of the collection into 3D metaverse outfits. Based on the original WoW traits, The Fabricant reimagined the outfits into 3D attires from shoulder to toe! The results are stunning, highly detailed, full-length outfits.
In a surprise move, WoW airdropped the garments to WoW holders based on the NFT they hold.
“WoW holders, check your wallets!” World of Women tweeted yesterday. “We just airdropped 3D versions of your WoW’s outfits designed by The Fabricant. Which ones are your favorites?”
Soon, Twitter was flooded with tweets and images from excited WoW holders. Many shared images of the magnificent outfits that they received.
“Love that my @worldofwomennft is essentially a superhero with this outfit from @the_fab_ric_ant,” tweeted Gailforce.eth. “Always thought she looked pretty badass.” Their WoW outfit, in black and white, is called “Checkmate”.
Another WoW holder, Paul, called the airdrop “incredible”. They added, “Loving this fashion piece to go with my WoW.”
The Fabricant CEO, Kerry Murphy, also shared his WoW outfit featuring a 70s shirt. It features a short sleeve shirt with yellow and orange flowers.
There’s more to the partnership
World Of Women x The Fabricant metaverse outfit airdrop is just the beginning of their incredible partnership. Actually, the full collection will go live on The Fabricant Studio next month. The digital fashion house has invited all WoW holders and the web3 female communities to customize a unique 1 of 1 piece. They can use different digital materials created by the community to craft their own outfits.
That’s not all! The two leading Web3 brands will also host a fashion party in Decentraland in June. Then, on May 5, the two will host a Twitch stream, followed by a Twitter Spaces on May 13. At the end of June, community members will also get to join a real-life event at NFT NYC.
Founded in 2018, The Fabricant is the first digital-only fashion house in the world. The digital fashion house’s mission is to create a sustainable, decentralized, and equitable fashion world. As part of this mission, it recently launched its digital design studio, enabling anyone to become a fashion designer. To explain, the studio gives creators all the necessary tools to become digital fashion designers in their own right.
“It incentivizes creative participation in a way that allows everybody to benefit economically,” Michaela Larosse, the firm’s Creative Strategy and Communications head told us in a recent interview. “It’s really thinking about a new fashion system in terms of passivity, equitability, and building a completely new fashion economy.”
