Justin Bieber has been a massive supporter and collector of NFT projects. The singer, songwriter, and now NFT enthusiast, continue to show off his favorite collections. On his Instagram account, he posted the picture of his Doodles NFTs yesterday with the NFT project’s username (@welikethedoodles) as the caption.
Justin Bieber and NFTs
The iconic singer started showing interest in NFTs earlier this year. First, he used one of the inBetweeners NFT as his profile picture on Twitter. In addition, Bieber also bought himself a Bored Ape that cost around 500ETH or roughly $13 Million at that time.
From then on, his NFT collection only started growing. An OpenSea account named JustinBieberNFTs believed to be owned by the singer, now has at least 2000 NFTs in his collection. Among his other NFTs are from CloneX, World of Women, AzukiNFT, and Murakami Flowers.
More About Doodles NFTs
The NFT project is the brainchild of artist Scott Martin, who goes by the alias Burnt Toast. Together with blockchain builder Jordan Castro and NFT consultant Evan Keast, the collection of 10,000 Doodles has achieved significant success.
The hand-drawn Doodles include skellys, cats, aliens, apes, and mascots. The Doodles NFT collection also includes dozens of rare heads, costumes, and colorways of the artist’s palette. But more than bringing joy through its cute and warm aesthetic, the NFT project has made good decisions for the benefit of its community.
For instance, the team behind the project launched its first IRL event during the SXSW in Austin, Texas, last February. They also released Space Doodles NFTs allowing its NFT holders to claim their own unique spaceship. Moreover, they also launched a merch shop and their own Web3 DAO, Doodlebank.
So far, the support the Doodles NFT has garnered, from celebrities like Justin Bieber, contributed to its gaining popularity, which is well-deserved.
