Animoca Brands x Cube Entertainment’s Anicube Drop A Free NFT

Anicube, a joint venture by Animoca Brands and Cube Entertainment, has announced a free NFT airdrop for fans! The video NFTs feature Cube Entertainment’s popular K-pop artists. To be eligible for the drop, all you have to do is connect your MetaMask wallet to Anicube’s website before 11 am KST on 15 April 2022.

Animoca Brands is the developer of a range of original games including The Sandbox, Crazy Kings, and Crazy Defense Heroes. On the other hand, Cube Entertainment is an entertainment company that finds emerging artists, trains them with professionals, and helps turn them into successful artists. Their joint venture, Anicube, brings K-pop and the wider K-culture to the open metaverse.

Currently, Anicube is developing a music metaverse using NFTs and ecosystem tokens. All the digital assets are based on the intellectual property rights of the South Korean Entertainment company’s popular K-pop music artists and actors. The NFTs from Anicube will include sound sources, albums, portraits, and avatars of K-pop artists. Moreover, Cube Entertainment has over 50 acts under management. This includes Jo Kwon, BtoB, CLC, Pentagon, and Yoo Seon-ho.

Recently, Anicube also partnered with The Sandbox to take K-culture to a global audience. The two companies will host virtual events, create experiences, and build digital assets in a dedicated space in The Sandbox metaverse. 

Anicube will mint its video NFTs on the Polygon blockchain. It will airdrop the NFTs to all eligible fans by April 18. The best part is that these NFTs come with added utility.
