The Dubai Police has announced it will launch an NFT collection featuring digital assets symbolising values of innovation, security, and communication. What’s more, anyone residing within or outside Dubai can win the NFTs for free! All you have to do is participate in the Dubai Police campaign.
Dubai Police NFTs: All you need to know
Dubai Police’s first NFT collection includes a total of 150 NFTs. According to Dubai Police, each NFT features a unique design. It also “carries value for the future submerging technologies usages”.
Participating in the giveaway is pretty straightforward. You just have to share Dubai Police Value NFT announcement on Twitter. Actually, the department has shared the post across its social media channels. You also have to send a direct message with your name, email, and NFT wallet address to the department.
“Dubai Police is the first government entity in the UAE and the first police department in the world to create its own digital assets,” said Brigadier Khalid Nasser Al Razooqi. He is the Director of the General Department of Artificial Intelligence at Dubai Police. “The step is in line with the government’s growing interest in virtual assets and contributes to attracting those interested in the modern digital trend.”
Indeed, a police department dropping its own NFTs shows how these digital assets are becoming more mainstream. Besides, Dubai is already making strides in its NFT adoption. Just last month, the city hosted a metaverse conference, MetaWeek Dubai. The event saw blockchain masterminds, NFT creators, DeFi spearheads, and more come together for four days. Some of the notable speakers at the event included the managing partner of Ghaf Capital, Sheikh Almualla; bitcoin pioneer, Nick Spanos; and the CEO of Earn.Games, Vlatko Gigov, among others.
