This month, Hot Wheels returns with its second drop of the NFT Garage Series 1! Now, collectors can enjoy the thrill brought by the iconic brand once again.
Much like the previous drop, Hot Wheels joined forces with Worldwide Asset eXchange (WAX) for the drop. In addition, the brand collaborated with Honda and General Motors too.
Hot Wheels Garage Series 2: a long-expected drop
When Hot Wheels debuted on the NFT scene in November 2021, the drop was a huge success. After all, the brand has been gaining fans globally for over five decades!
As a result, the giant American brand returns with the second NFT Garage Series. This time, the collection features 10 licensed vehicle models. The collectibles are divided into four categories: Hot Wheels Flames, Car Meet, Nightburnerz, and Rod Squad.
In fact, Hot Wheels collaborated with Honda and General Motors for the NFT card packs. For example, we might see iconic models such as the Corvette C8 R, 1991 GMC Syclone, and the 1955 Chevy Bel Air Gasser.
Meanwhile, Honda’s Custom 2001 Acura Integra GSR and the Civic Type R might be part of the collection too.
The Hot Wheels Garage Series 2 NFTs will drop on March 31st at 1:00 p.m. ET. A single digital pack of cards will include 7 random collectibles. Collectors will be able to mint up to four card packs per transaction.
Notably, the price per card pack will be $25. Although it’s slightly higher than the $15 requested per pack for Series 1 NFTs, fans will likely be just as excited – and for good reason.
The company is among the most iconic real-life car collectible brands worldwide. Initially launched under the giant toy producer Mattel, Hot Wheels now brings the thrill of collecting car models to the Metaverse via NFTs.
