Nifty Gateway just announced a much welcomed update: the wallet 2 wallet feature! The update will officially launch on 5 April 2022, where users will see 70% lower gas fees and overall safer NFT listings. In addition, the NFT platform is also allowing users to signup and login using their Metamask accounts starting today. Moving forward, these two consumer-centric updates should bring in more users. Fittingly, Twitter users are calling this the biggest update so far.
Nifty Update
This upcoming update diminishes one of the largest issues in the NFT space today: gas fees. For some NFTs, the gas fees may even be higher than the NFT price itself. In essence, the new feature will allow users to buy and sell NFTs directly from their Ethereum wallet. With this update, the Metamask integration makes even more sense.
According to the company, the potential savings can go up to 75%. When this feature goes live, the company will organize Wagmi Winter Wham to celebrate, promising a ton of rewards for participants.
Nifty Gateway x Metamask
Yesterday, Nifty Gateway teased the Metamask integration on Twitter with the shortest caption ever: ‘gn…’. The company then left us hanging through the whole night, before dropping the announcement. The teaser caused a flurry of rumors and speculation as there were literally no other available information. What a way to build up the hype before the announcement.
Nifty Gateway is an all-in-one platform that makes it easy to buy, sell, and store digital art and collectibles. The NFT platform is owned by Gemini, a cryptocurrency exchange and custodian.
