If you are in the market for a soviet battle tank, your wait is over. A Ukrainian farmer near Kyiv recently listed three Russian tanks as NFTs for sale on Opensea. At a low floor price of 250 ETH (700,000), you can be the proud owner of a T-64BV. However, you’ll still have to pull a 60Ton people mover out of a warzone without bothering anyone.
Tanks meet Farmer & NFTs
Now, you may be wondering how this humble farmer came into possession of these soviet tanks. The farmer said the three tank models were “ethically sourced” so rest easy knowing you’ll have a clean interior. In addition, the farmer has exclaimed the tanks have “most if not all equipment inside, and they are not haunted.”
The Ukrainian Russian tank NFTs feature three models, the T-64BV, a T-72A, and last but not least, a T-80U. Supposedly, each NFT will contain a secret tag with instructions on how and where to retrieve the war piece. However, many have voiced concerns about the Ukrainian government seizing possession of the battle tanks. Not to mention the headache of transporting the equipment out of Ukraine. As a result, no offers have been made on Opensea regarding the three Russian military tanks.
“Yes, you have to transport it away yourself. In Europe you can move it by train, but if you are dedicated, it can probably be shipped to USA, or anywhere else by cargo ship. Right now getting my family out of the conflict zone safely is my number one priority.”-Ukrainian Farmer
While being the new owner of a Soviet war tank sounds intriguing, a death cannon on my front lawn might scare the neighbors. So has the three tanks wait for a buyer worthy of the transport bill. There is no sign of them going anywhere. As Ukraine continues to defend its homeland, neighboring nations extended a hand through the power of cryptocurrency.
