Jennifer Esposito is the latest Hollywood star to join the NFT film sector. Her NFT movie project called “Fresh Kills” also marks the artist’s directorial debut.
Markedly, this women-led project features top visual artists such as Gala Mirissa. Actors such as award-winning Annabella Sciorra star in the suspense movie too. What’s more, the suspense crime drama will involve NFT holders like never before, bringing them right on the movie set!
In fact, an exclusive drop of 4 “Women of Fresh Kills” NFTs takes place tomorrow, March 8. Not only does the launch celebrate International Women’s Day, but it also embodies Esposito’s support for female artists worldwide.
Jennifer Esposito debuts “Fresh Kills” NFT film
Award-winning actress Jennifer Esposito stepped into 2022 with her own NFT project, “Fresh Kills”. Notably, the collectibles are a glimpse of Esposito’s directorial debut movie.
In essence, the drama gives us an insight into a New York City-based organized crime family from the women’s perspective. Starting March 8th, collectors will be able to mint one of the four 1:1 NFTs of the film’s female characters. The drop called “Women of Fresh Kills” will include 800 digital assets for 0.08 ETH per piece.
Surprisingly, each NFT holder will gain exclusive real-life perks. For example, the NFTs provide VIP tours on set, or red carpet access. What’s more, U.S. residents will even be able to take part in the film itself! However, these perks are only available for first-time early buyers.
Of course, the collectibles are valuable thanks to their high-quality design and meaning. The kinetic artworks feature unique audiovisual effects too. Their creators are acclaimed Spanish artist Gala Mirissa and music producer Mike Gonek.
“We want to support underrepresented voices, empower artists to be heard, and people to participate in the film’s success,” the project wrote on Twitter.
Empowering female artists through NFTs
“The NFT space to me is freedom. Freedom for the artist and freedom for the people who take part in the journey of that NFT,” says Jennifer Esposito. “Having these incredible artists step forward and give their support to female-driven content made by female directors is magical.”
Of course, Jennifer Esposito and her project are constantly supporting female-led NFT projects. For example, the “Fresh Kills” project recently retweeted a photo of World of Women. The tweet celebrates the collection’s recent success, including the NFT collaboration with Billboard.
