Tatum has launched NFT Express to make it easier for anybody to mint NFTs. Significantly, the feature from the blockchain development platform opens up minting to users without the need to hold any cryptocurrency. Not only that, but it also allows for minting across multiple blockchains.
Subscribers to Tatum can enjoy “gasless” NFT minting on five chains
In short, NFT Express from Tatum allows users to mint as many NFTs as they want without needing to pay to deploy smart contracts.
To clarify, people minting an NFT on a blockchain generally involves paying transaction fees, aka gas fees. Particularly on the Ethereum blockchain, this can be a sizeable barrier as gas fees can be incredibly high. Even on blockchains with lower gas fees, it still requires a certain level of crypto savvy from users. And of course, users need to actually have some of the cryptocurrency native to the blockchain they are minting on.
That’s where Tatum’s new feature comes in handy. All users have to do is have an active Tatum subscription, which they pay for via bank card. Then, they can mint as many NFTs as they want. Not to mention, they can mint NFTs on five different blockchains. To list, they are Ethereum, Polygon, Binance Smart Chain, Harmony and Celo.
Speaking on NFT Express, CEO of Tatum, Jiri Kobelka said, “Customers have been approaching us saying they’ve tried everything possible to get their NFT marketplaces off the ground… We knew there had to be a better way, so we put our heads together to come up with a solution.”
This new option from Tatum certainly provides a great way for people newer to the NFT space to try their hand in the space without the bigger commitment to diving into crypto.
