Twitter just issued a warning to NFT influencer, Beanie. The warning indicates that the account is in violation of Twitter policies on impersonation and/or trademark. The warning was sent with regards to Beanie’s personal or brand affiliation, where it is creating some sort of confusion. Beanie took to Twitter to ask if there was anything wrong with his bio. Facing a threat of being banned, Beanie has already changed his Twitter bio.
Change or Ban
The previous bio says that Beanie is the co-creator of PUNKS Comic, Pixel Vault, and MetaHero Universe. While the NFT celebrity has complied with Twitter’s request, he proudly tweeted his accomplishments with the above projects. He takes the most pride in the PUNKS comic, especially the game theory surrounding the project.
There were definitely some in the thread that showed their hatred towards the influencer. Some of them also mentioned the unsuccessful projects and rug pulls that he was allegedly involved with. Clearly, the community has not forgotten the recent fiasco.
But in general, the community showed their support in trying to figure this out. Some of them were debating if there is a difference between co-creator, early investor, marketer, and other roles that he might have played in the projects. Beanie responded that in many of the projects above, he was responsible to source the developers and the artists. In addition, he also came up with the concept and game theory, while running the marketing scene.
There is not much information at this point, with the complaining party still unknown. Maybe we will find out more juicy details in the coming days.
