The Chainsmokers and the Kid LAROI are set to headline the first annual Afterparty Festival in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event has been created as a mix of NFTs and music IRL for one of the first time. The festival is running on Friday, March 18th and Saturday, March 19th at Area15 in Las Vegas.
About the Afterparty NFT Art and Music Festival
In summary, the first annual Afterparty NFT and Art Music festival is set to take place at Area15, Las Vegas on March 18th and 19th. It is the first NFT-gated festival, meaning those who want to get in must own an NFT, titled Afterparty Utopian, which will be released via a contest at a later date. There will be 1,500 of these.
In addition to The Chainsmokers and The Kid LAROI as headliners, an additional 25 supporting music artists will take to the stage. Also, over a dozen world-class NFT artists will be there too, however, it’s unconfirmed what their involvement will be. The full lineup will be told in February.
Afterparty’s generative Utopian NFT collection doubles as digital art and an “all-access” festival pass. Each of the 1500 unreleased NFTs will be totally unique.
Each NFT holder will be able to bring one guest and will have two passes to invite friends or sell. There are two ways to get these NFTs now on the secondary market:

About The Chainsmokers and The Kid LAROI
The Chainsmokers are an American DJ duo of Alex Pall and Drew Taggart. Firstly, they started out making EDM mixes of indie artists’ songs. Now, they have written many pop songs, like ‘Closer’ and ‘Don’t Let Me Down’. In 2019, Forbes tagged them as the highest-paid DJs, taking the title from Calvin Harris after 6 years. The duo has won a Grammy, two AMAs and seven Billboard Music Awards.
The Kid LAROI is an Australian singer, rapper and songwriter from Sydney, Australia. His career started in 2018 when he was only 15. LAROI started by rapping on beats and posting them on Soundcloud. His early career included making friends with late American rapper, Juice WRLD who he was mentored by. Since then, he’s made a name as one of the world’s biggest artists. All in all, some of his most famous songs are ‘Stay’ and ‘Without You’.
